Terms of Use

These terms cover blobs.run and the Blobs app for Mac (“Blobs”), made by Image Inc. (“we”, “us”). By using Blobs you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Blobs.

A private beta

Blobs is in a private beta and is shared by invitation. Features may change, break or be removed while we work on it, and we may end the beta or your access to it. Please do not rely on Blobs for anything critical yet. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you before anything is charged.

Your AI account

Blobs works through your own Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI) account. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, which you are responsible for following, and any usage limits or charges on your subscription are between you and that provider.

What your blobs do

Blobs are AI companions that act on your instructions on your Mac. Depending on what you allow, they can read, create and change files in the folders you connect, look at your screen when you ask, and use other apps. You decide what they may do, and you are responsible for the instructions you give and for how you use what they produce. AI can be wrong: check important results before you rely on them, and keep backups of your work.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Blobs to break the law, to harm others or to infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Do not try to get around the limits of Blobs or of the AI services it uses.
  • Do not copy, resell or redistribute Blobs, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows you to.
  • Keep your beta invitation and download link to yourself.

Ownership

What you create with Blobs, and the files you work on, remain yours. Blobs itself, this website, the Blobs name, wordmark and characters belong to Image Inc. Some parts of Blobs and of this site come from others and are used under their own licences. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Blobs without owing you anything for it.

No warranty

Blobs is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Image Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Blobs. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Blobs at any time by quitting and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or when the beta ends.

Changes

We may update these terms as Blobs grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
